Morocco has a very long tradition of weaving some of the finest rugs in the world. These superb rugs have been woven since the 8th century, when the Berber tribes settled in Morocco. For more than a thousand years, tribal women have hand-knotted rugs from the wool of the sheep they raise atop the Atlas Mountains. Even today, the tribes live in the mountains, and the skill is passed down from mother to daughter

The perfect synthesis of authetic and pretty

The women of the various Berber tribes each decide on the pattern, colors and shape of their rugs, so no two rugs are the same. We get to the mountain every week to buy Beni Ourain, Azilal, Boucharouette rugs and other kilims from Berber tribes. So we have access to antique, semi-antique and new Moroccan rugs of fantastic quality.
